How to Save WhatsApp Status
Android (File Manager Method)
- View the Status you want to save (this downloads it locally)
- Open your File Manager app
- Navigate to: Internal Storage > Android > media > com.whatsapp > WhatsApp > Media > .Statuses
- Enable "Show hidden files" in file manager settings
- Copy the desired files to your gallery or another folder
iPhone (Screen Recording Method)
- Add Screen Recording to Control Center (Settings > Control Center)
- Open WhatsApp and go to the Status tab
- Start screen recording from Control Center
- Play the Status video you want to save
- Stop recording — the video is saved to Photos
Note:Always respect others' privacy. Only save Status content for personal use and with the consent of the person who posted it.

Can I download someone else's WhatsApp Status?
You can only save Status from contacts whose Status you have viewed on your device.
Do they get notified?
They can see you viewed their Status, but not whether you saved it.
Why not an online tool?
