Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you might want to know about using ToolsBear. Can't find your answer? Get in touch.
Is ToolsBear free to use?
Yes. Every tool on ToolsBear is completely free to use with no hidden charges. We keep the tools free by showing non-intrusive ads, so you can compress images, convert files, calculate values, and more without paying anything.
Do I need to create an account or sign up?
No. You can use our tools instantly without registering, logging in, or providing any personal details. Just open the tool you need and start using it.
Is my data safe? Do my files get uploaded to your servers?
Many of our tools — such as image compression and several PDF and text tools — run entirely inside your browser, which means your files never leave your device. For tools that do require server processing, files are handled temporarily and deleted automatically after a short period. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How many tools does ToolsBear offer?
We currently offer 170+ free online tools across categories including image and file compression, image editing, PDF and text tools, SEO utilities, date and age calculators, finance calculators, and everyday utilities. We add new tools regularly.
Do the tools work on mobile phones and tablets?
Yes. ToolsBear is fully responsive and works in any modern browser on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. No app installation is required.
Do I need to install any software?
No installation is needed. All tools run directly in your web browser, so there is nothing to download or set up.
Who is behind ToolsBear?
ToolsBear is owned and operated by Masdi Tech Private Limited, a technology company registered in India. You can learn more about us on our About and Trust pages.
How do you make money if the tools are free?
We fund the development and running costs of ToolsBear through advertising. This lets us keep every tool free for everyone while continuing to build and maintain them.
A tool isn't working correctly — what should I do?
Please try refreshing the page or using an up-to-date browser first. If the problem continues, contact us at support@toolsbear.com with the tool name and a short description, and we will look into it.
Can I request a new tool or suggest an improvement?
Absolutely. We love hearing from users. Send your ideas and feedback to support@toolsbear.com — many of our tools started as user suggestions.
