TapriPay

TapriPay is a free group expense tracker designed for small friend groups who regularly share expenses at tea stalls, canteens, or any informal setting. It tracks who paid for what, calculates fair splits, and shows a leaderboard so everyone knows who's the most generous payer.

When someone pays for the group, the total amount is divided equally among all present members. For example, if Ravi pays ₹80 for tea and 4 people are present, each person's share is ₹20. Ravi's balance goes up by ₹60 (he paid for 3 others), while each other person's balance goes down by ₹20.

Each group has a unique code. You can share the group link directly on WhatsApp using the Share button, or share the code manually. Friends can join by entering the code on the TapriPay page.

Tapri King 👑 — The person who has paid the most overall.
Snack Minister 🍿 — Second highest payer.
Tea Warrior ☕ — Third highest payer.
Free Rider 🆓 — The person with the lowest (most negative) balance, meaning they've consumed more than they've paid for.

Simply uncheck the absent person when recording the expense. Only the members you mark as "present" will share the cost. Absent members won't be charged anything for that session.

The system looks at each member's balance (total paid minus total consumed). The person with the lowest balance — meaning they've benefited the most without paying — is recommended to pay next. This keeps things fair over time.
